This page showcases my recent design work in my current role as Digital Designer at Primark. Alongside my web banner creations, I design editorial article images across collaborations with the likes of Stronghold, Disney, Rita Ora & influencer collections. I receive imagery post-shoot & make art-working edits where necessary to promote & show-off the collection.
Predominantly day-to-day I work on web banner designs, ensuring they align for both web & mobile, showcasing the product whilst adding the approachable, fun tone of voice that sits within Primark's core values.
Within this page you will find examples of paid-media work I have designed & initial idea concepts for upcoming assets.
Ultimately my passion is editorial design but on the sideline I am constantly creating my own graphic design illustrations which I share over on a design dedicated instagram page: @creative_sp.ace_
If you like my work be sure to give that account a follow.

As part of brand marketing for Squeeze I wanted to have a go at my own photoshoot to experiment with my outcomes further and to test how commercially Squeeze would look. Shoot location was an Arcade in the city centre of Nottingham, as I wanted to create that old school date vibe, it consisted of 2 girls, 2 boys and a whole lot of fun. Aim for the shoot was to develop on top of the images to enhance my illustrative creative concept (which you can see in the ‘Date Moments Matter’ section on this site) . Working on shoots isn’t my main passion but I do enjoy the process of art direction and photography. This shoot is one of my favourites I’ve done for a long time.
Video design is something I am constantly striving to improve my skills on, recently I’ve noticed how much companies and brands utilise gifs within social platforms to create a bond between consumer and brand. To develop my graphic design skills I’ve been spending recent free time due to furlough playing around with gifs, hopping on this social trend.
This is a page I aim to constantly be adding to- in the meantime if you want to check out my instagram: @oh_scrambles_ for the most up-to-date artwork.
Welcome to SQueEzE, my baby for the past year.
[Squeeze] A dating app that’s putting the romance back into dating. All that’s required is a drop of effort, dash of love, hint of spice and a drizzle of humour. That’s what makes Squeeze. Spontaneous dates for spontaneous hearts.
Squeeze is the new cool kid on dating block, it’s excitable, engaging and effective. It understands you and what you want. Whether it’s a shoulder to cry on if the date doesn’t go well or perhaps somewhere to get date inspiration from. Whatever it is, when you’re ready for something more serious, Squeeze will be there, helping with every step of the way, from match to potential relationship and all the dates inbetween.
Here at Squeeze we go beyond the point of a match, we provide the datable hotspots making dating convenient, achievable and most importantly romantic. Adding that ‘old school’ exciting tingle back into dating lives, unlike existing dating apps out there. Squeeze is everything your date should be. Spontaneous, encouraging and an old romantic. We believe real life connections count, ‘Dating and being in front of someone in real life is good for one’s soul. 70% of communication is non-verbal so you get to know the true person face to face.’ (Essex, 2018). Take the time to get to know someone beyond a screen.
All Squeeze wants is for you to fall back in love with the dates again. That’s it. Squeeze just wants you to enjoy the journey, don’t skip the dates- join Squeeze and see how far a little bit of effort and a chance of love can take you.
Video creation is a skill I’d love to expand on, whenever I have any downtime at work I am usually found building my video or illustrator knowledge. This is some of my more recent work, this page remain a work in progress.
If you’re interested in collaborating or maybe you can offer a fellow creative some tips then feel free to get in touch via my socials or email.
I couldn’t create a portfolio site without giving a subtle plug towards my own CV & business card. During my time on FCP I feel I have really discovered my own style and although I’ve worked on a wide range of projects I’ve developed a style that is recognisable across everything I work on.
Explore my CV & hey if you’re hiring I’d love to be considered.
Working on a live brief with Levi’s has been an amazing opportunity. In teams of three we were required to create a sustainability awareness campaign to encourage people to make better planet choices, after all we only have 12 years to make a difference.
In my team we believe in the role of storytelling, people aren’t going to connect with a campaign if it doesn’t reach their hearts, it needs to be a perfect mix between storytelling, education and impact. At the same time it needed to be authentic because thats what Levi’s is, an authentic denim brand living with you through generations.
Our campaign needed to be bigger than just a commercial, commercials don’t make you sit up and listen which is why we chose to go down the route of a pop up, but this isn’t just any pop up. It’s a multi sensory, immersive, VR maze experience, leading you through a perfect world before everything changes. #theconsequencesarecoming
We have to create our campaign and visualise appropriate outcomes before pitching the idea in the Levi’s HQ London at the end of May 2019. Scary but exciting times ahead.
So make a difference and do it in Levi’s.
The ultimate dream is to work for a magazine, print and the process of print are two passions of mine. From writing to designing to distributing I love it all. Stumbling across a scholarship opportunity with Cosmopolitan seemed like the perfect competition for me. Allowing me to pitch design why working on magazine is a match made in heaven for me. Wish me luck!
Like any fashion soon to be graduate, Graduate Fashion Week is hot on my radar, it is a site that I follow on instagram all year round and I’m very excited to visit again this year.
GFW run a variety of competitions on their website and across their socials to help promote newly/ soon to be graduates to help them get on the competitive fashion ladder. This year they have been running their #tagyourtalent competition weekly on instagram, and I was absolutely shocked to see my work win one week back in February 2019. As a prize I received a repost of my artwork on GFW’s instagram which was amazing by itself and a cheque for £50. With nearly 45K followers on their instagram it was an amazing chance to get my work out there. If I’m completely honest it still surprises me now- a real pinch me moment.
Ever since I started university, I wanted to be on the degree show team. Whilst it is hard finding the time alongside other work commitments, it is fun and allows me to collaborate with people who I haven’t had the chance to previously.
With my skillset I felt the Art team was the right role for me, figuring out the visuals and how the whole degree show will look has been exciting. Deciding on degree show logo was a challenge but like all challenges tackling it head on and being decisive helped us to come to a final decision.
This is an ongoing project at the minute so I will continue to update this page.

NTU Art & Design degree show is from the 1st- 9th June 2019
I have always had a passion for drawing, I was drawing on the fireplace before i could walk much to my parents annoyance. I only discovered my love for life drawing whilst on my Art foundation year at DMU. Drawing is that one thing for me that I always coming back to, and I want to continue developing my skills over the next fews years.
For those who haven’t heard of Stance it’s an American sock brand that promotes socks as a part of your wardrobe you should consider when getting dressed in the morning- hey we all have a favourite pair or a lucky go to option.
During my second year studying Fashion Communication & Promotion we were lucky enough to get a live brief from Stance during our Fashion Film module. For me film was never a pathway I’d really considered or explored until this module. But as camera woman for the film and head editor it gave me a real opportunity to discover new skills.
Despite learning Premiere Pro in a matter of a few days, my team won best commercial film for the project which I’m incredibly proud of and this has definitely made me want to explore film more- maybe my YouTube might be reborn who knows.
Watch our winning film in the film tab at the top of the page.
TOPIC- ONLINE DATING.
Shock horror my dissertation is on online dating, after being a lover of all dating shows [love island, celebs go dating, first dates] you name it i’ve watched it. Having been a user of dating apps myself and being in the university environment where pretty much all of my single friends were also on dating apps it made me look at how we date today. Speaking to family and friends I wanted to explore how dating has evolved over time not just because of technological developments but also how it’s adjusted socially. With my big question being, ‘has dating lost it’s romance?’.
I never would have thought I’d do my dissertation on dating but honestly researching this topic has been one of my favourite projects I’ve worked on. Not only have I enjoyed the research stages but developing my own brand, Squeeze, as an outcome for it has been something I’ve loved and something that I’d seriously consider pursuing beyond university.
Below are a number of photoshop experiments & some pages from my dissertation.
During my second year on FCP, we had a identity module where we had to develop our own subculture and design a zine and photoshoot for it. My team’s subculture was called the ‘No Tribe’ tribe so ‘Ebirton’ backwards. It was for all those people who feel like they don’t really fit into one specific box, they are culturally quite vocal and experimental with their looks but they don’t do it to follow trends or to fit into one particular crowd. I really enjoyed this identity project, exploring tribe sets and this whole idea of ‘face’ and self-expression was interesting to look into and my team & I were very pleased with our outcomes.
Alongside my identity module & the Ebirton outcome, I had write a piece and produce a visual report about how the subculture we picked connects with a brand. I chose the brand Lazy Oaf as I feel it is very individual & self-expressive, the clothing doesn’t follow trends and has more of that one of a kind feel much like my subculture the ‘no tribe’ tribe [Ebirton].
Producing visual reports in a short space of time can be challenging but I love the process of putting a layout together and my indesign skills are strong.
